Film about a girl called Ellen who, after realising she doesn't fit into the hearing world, learns sign language to try and discover the deaf world. It stars Lara Steward (who made a small appearance in BBC1's The Silence last year) and was directed by William Mager. Written by Charlie Swinbourne. It's funded by the BSL Broadcasting Trust.

Deaf Clubs in London

Deaf Club meets at Worlds End Pub - Finsbury Park

 

The signing group usually meets up the first Tuesday of the month at The Worlds End Pub, 21-23, Stroud Green Rd, London, N4 3EF (It is only a couple of min. walk (approx. 250 metres) from Finsbury Park, (at Wells terrace exit).

at St Anne's Shopping centre in Harrow (London), 1st Floor (food court).
